Received email on 7/5:
Good afternoon,
On July 4th at about 3:00-4:00am we surrendered two white male possible pitbull mixes to the Glen Ellyn Police Station. We were given information by the police officer that the dogs would most likely be sent to your establishment. I would love to have an update or a call back to see if they are in your care. Call back number: 630-460-3028
Warm regards,
Jessica Villa
Emailed back confirming they are here and asking if they have any owner information or any additional information that could help us.
Their response:
Thank you so much for the information. Me and a friend were walking home on 7/4 and they appeared from a neighbors yard with the address 872 Sheehan Ave Glen Ellyn. They ran up to us, tails wagging, and followed us home where we took care of them until the police arrived. Their paws were black and full of dirt, and they were noticeably malnourished. From my understanding the police scanned for a chip and did not find anything on them. That’s about all the information we have from finding them that night. We would love to see how they are doing, they were very sweet! If possible we would love to follow their status of where they will end up.
