This sweet boy has come a long way since arriving in rescue, and he's ready to find a forever home that matches his gentle heart and playful spirit. Rescue will consider a foster-to-adopt situation until he can be neutered.

Age: 4 months old, male.
Weight: 20 pounds.
Health: Healthy.
Demeanor: Affectionate, sweet, timid/shy, quiet/mellow, playful, social, anxious, submissive.
Likes: Playing tug-o-war, giving kisses, snuggling, being held, sitting in laps, car rides, walks, belly rubs, men & women, children, dogs, stuffed toys, stuffless toys, chew toys, sleeping in your bed, burrowing under blankets.
Unknown: Cats.
Dislikes: Unfamiliar surroundings, being left alone.
Manners: Almost housebroken, crate trained, leash trained, verbal commands (sit).
Yard Requirements: A fenced yard isn't required, but if you don't have one, regular walks are a must to meet his potty and play needs.

Mac is now a 4-month-old pup with a heart full of love and a belly that's always ready for rubs. Born in rescue after his Frenchie mom arrived pregnant, Mac has blossomed from a timid pup into a joyful companion who greets each morning with tail wags and excitement for walks.
He's 20 pounds now and expected to grow to around 40 pounds. Mac is affectionate, gentle, and curious. He loves car rides, tug-o-war, snuggling under blankets, and playing with stuffed toys. He's great with kids, happily greets them at the bus stop, and willingly goes into his crate when asked. He's doing wonderfully with potty training and responds well to cues.
Mac does get a little anxious when his foster mom leaves, which is the only time he tends to vocalize. But with love and consistency, he's learning that he's safe and supported. He's leash trained, crate trained and knows "sit". Mac is a smart little guy with a soft heart.
