Hi, I'm Ortman, though my friends call me Fudge.
My story started one night at a gas station, where I was found perched on top of a trash can, skinny, tired, and trying my best to get by. My paw pads were sore from the heat, but thanks to a kind human, they've healed-and so has my heart. I went home with her that night, used the litter box right away, and never looked back.
Now I'm about 8 months old, on the smaller side, and very proud of my reputation as a cuddle expert. I love head scratches, gentle pets, and will happily rub my head against you to ask for attention. If there's a lap available, I'm likely to claim it. I also enjoy being held and will purr contentedly when I'm getting love.
My favorite activities are naps, snuggles, and playing with anything dangly. I get along well with other cats and have lived peacefully with several feline roommates, so I'd be happy in a home with another friendly cat. I'm litter box trained, easygoing, and just looking for a place where I can relax and feel safe.
I've come a long way from that lonely night, and now I'm ready for a forever home of my own. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will happily curl up with you and share quiet moments, I might be the perfect fit.
