Demeanor: affectionate, sweet, quiet, and mellow when tired, playful, couch potato when tired, social curious, sometimes vocal, just a great little buddy.
Likes: playing tug-o-war, giving kisses, snuggling, being held, sitting in laps, car rides, walks, belly rubs, men and women, older children, dogs, stuffed toys, stuffless toys, sleeping in your bed, and DINNER!
Tolerates: no issues seen
Dislikes: nothing noted by foster home; not tested with cats
Manners: housebroken, crate trained, leash trained, verbal commands: sit, down, comes when called
Fenced Yard Required: no; he is learning to use a doggy door

Blitz was heartbreakingly surrendered after his owner had to move to care for elderly parents. Their resident dog didn't get along with him, but Blitz handled the transition with grace and resiliency. Now he's looking for a loving home that appreciates an affectionate couch buddy who's equally happy curled up or tossing a toy.
Blitz's foster calls him the easiest foster dog they've ever had. He's sweet, social, and respectful of your stuff (though maybe don't leave an open food bag unattended!). Once other dogs accepted him, he blended right in. He's a little pushy during play, but only in that "come on, let's be besties!" kind of way, and if it's not reciprocated, Blitz shrugs it off.
Blitz is the kind of pup who steals hearts effortlessly, even if he drools a little at mealtime and can't resist giving a gentle lick to your calves when you're wearing shorts. These quirks only add to his charm, and honestly, they're part of what makes him such a dreamboat.
