Meet Acai! This happy, wiggly girl is already winning hearts! Weighing in at 48 pounds, Acai is easy to handle and always ready to make new friends. Friendly, happy, and full of tail wags, Acai absolutely lives for affection. She's quick to hop into your lap if you let her, soaking up all the love, pets, and attention she can get. In fact, she loves pets so much she'll sometimes choose them over treats-occasionally spitting those out in favor of cuddles! She already knows "sit," and would much rather be rewarded with a gentle scratch than a snack.
Acai walks well on the leash and even dropped down for a joyful belly roll mid-walk, showing off her carefree spirit. She's also has a playful side and loves a good zoomie session when she's feeling extra excited! She loves playing with toys, and splashing around in the baby pools and sprinklers to stay cool.
Acai has also met other dogs at the shelter and has shown herself to be a social and playful pup who enjoys canine company.
