This stunning girl is Wren, a one-year-old, 37-pound gal with a tiger-striped brindle coat and the most magnificent jumbo ears you've ever seen.Wren strikes a pose for the camera, delights in treats, and carries herself with a calm, gentle energy. Though she can seem reserved at first, Wren quickly warms up and reveals her tender, loving heart. She adores affection, engages sweetly with her people, and is more than ready to bond with a family of her own. She's full of potential and joy-just waiting to share it with someone who has room in their heart (and maybe a cozy spot on the couch).

Don't let her young age fool you-Wren is incredibly smart and already knows "sit"! She's food-motivated and eager to please, making her a fantastic candidate for continued training. She walks wonderfully on leash, and her outings are filled with curiosity and gentle exploration. Every walk is a little adventure for this low-key sweetheart. She also appears to be housebroken here at the shelter.

Wren enjoyed an amazing Dog's Day Out with a volunteer, and she absolutely shined! This confident, enthusiastic, and playful pup was so excited to explore a home and yard environment. She investigated every corner with curiosity and joy, taking it all in with her bright, eager energy. Wren took treats and pets calmly and politely, showing her sweet and gentle side even while brimming with excitement. She was friendly with everyone she met, including a young teen, and absolutely loved making new friends.
Always quick to pick up new things, Wren showed that she's not just active but also super smart and eager to learn-she would thrive with someone interested in engaging her mind through training, games, and enrichment activities. She's the perfect match for an active adopter who enjoys walks, hikes, exploring new places, or just having fun playing in the yard-especially if tug toys are involved (she LOVES a good game of tug!). To top it all off, Wren showed that she is housebroken, making her an even easier companion to bring home.

Wren has met other dogs at the shelter, she is playful but can be a bit uncomfortable. She would prefer to be the only dog in her home. She is eligible to come back to BARCS for social sessions.

If you're looking for a fun-loving, smart, and affectionate best friend with endless love to give, Wren is ready to jump right into your life and adventures! Come down to BARCS to meet this adorable girl and see if she's the perfect fit for your home!
