Max, a lovable 56-pound Shepherd, is a sweetheart through and through. I'm all about spreading love with kisses and hugs, but when anxiety creeps in, I'll let out a whine to express my unease. With boundless energy coursing through me, closed spaces make me restless, and I'll pace until I can stretch my legs. Seeking attention comes naturally to me, and I'll eagerly jump up to be close to you. I'm very friendly with everyone I've met here! While I could brush up on my manners, I'm a quick learner, especially when treats are involved. It's important to note that I'm best suited to a home without cats, and I can be a bit territorial around other dogs, particularly when food is involved. However, I'm a pro at kennel and house training, making me a paw-sitively delightful companion for the right family.
Adopting me means a 13+ year commitment along with all the training I require to help me be the very best dog possible!
My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
All Pennington County residents must also pay an additional $8 licensing fee at time of adoption.
Happy Adopting!
