Meet Rachel! Rachel came into TCHS as part of our Crosby intake so unfurtunately not much is known of her past. Rachel has been sweet and laid back with staff and enjoys greeting them at the door. She has lived with other cats and seems fine with the company. It is unknown how Rachel is with dogs or children. Slow and proper introductions over the course of multiple weeks are always recommended when introducing a new animal to the home. Rachel came from a large group seized from poor, crowded living conditions. This cat has been exposed to Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), but currently tested negative for both. She should be isolated from other cats until the adoptive family follows up with their veterinarian for guidance on re-testing options. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care. Deposits may be placed on adoptable animals by calling 320-252-0896.
