Meet Jet! This fella arrived as part of a large group of cats. He has tested positive for Feline Leukemia and should only be housed with other FeLU+ cats. He's a bit timid at first, but once he feels safe with you, he rolls and leans in for pets. His best friend is Bob 52, and they would absolutely LOVE to go home together, that's why we're offering our BOGO 4 BESTIES for them! He adores chasing the laser pointer and his big tail poofs out. He is very, very, affectionate with shelter staff. He's lived with other male cats and done well. We are unsure if he's been around other dogs or children. Gradual introductions that allow everyone plenty of space during the adjustment period is best. Jet came from a rough start, but he is sure to be a great companion to a new person. He just needs his second chance! Came from a large group seized from poor, crowded living conditions. Tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), which affects a cat's immune system. Due to this positive status, it's recommended he/she separated from other cats until the adoptive family follows up with their veterinarian for guidance. Keep indoors only. While some cats can have health complications from FeLV, many live long, happy lives. Has also been exposed to Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).
