Meet Asher! Asher is about 2 years old, 61 lbs, and he is a mutt! He was found as a stray. In his foster home, he is working on his house-training, crate-training and does well with leash-walking. He could go to a home with kids, dogs, and dog-savvy cats. No apartments, please!
His foster says, "Asher is wonderfully sweet, affectionate and loving. He wants to be wherever you are at, and likes to have attention, cuddles, and lots of petting. He really likes to go for walks and explore. If he is playing outside and is distracted, all you have to do is call his name, pat your leg twice and say come here or come on and he almost always comes to you. He sits and lays down when you ask most of the time, and likes to get treats when he does things that you ask. When I ask him to sit, I say me or look at me then he looks at my eyes and then I give him the treat. He understands the command off or back off if he jumps on me. He is crate trained, and prefers to be in his crate if he is riding in a vehicle. He loves to play and gets along well with other dogs. He also has been good around cats from what I have noticed with the outside cat. He will be an awesome companion to have!"
