You won't be able to tell from his personality, but Brutus came into rescue after a quite horrific set of events. When Brutus' prior "owners" moved from their apartment, they decided to leave him there. Alone. No food. No water. No help in sight. About a WEEK after they left him, the neighbors heard a horrible noise and someone went into the apartment to find that Brutus had somehow gotten his front leg stuck/crushed, leading to the need for amputation on March 4th. Luckily a kind family offered to nurse him through his recovery ????
They may have had to take his leg, but they couldn't take his spirit! Brutus is a happy guy, a very big fan of naps and cuddling, but also loves to play with all sorts of toys, and is surprisingly fast ?? He has no trouble at all with going up and down stairs, or hopping into the car for a nice ride ?? . .
