Meet Yogurt AKA Girlypop! She was originally living outdoors but has been loving the indoor lifestyle. She was adopted and returned due to not getting along with the other animals in the home. In the previous home she was said to be a bit nervous when it comes to new people. It can takes weeks or even months for a cat to truly feel comfortable in a new home. Ask TCHS staff how to ease the transition. Yogurt likes to spend her days observing her people. If a faucet is leaking or there's a fishtank around she'll spend hours just watching the movement. She would appreciate to have a cat tree near a window so she can have a perch to watch her kingdom. She has lived with other cats and dogs and was not a fan of the energy they had. Due to this Yogurt may do best as a single pet the home. She has not had the chance to meet children but may do best with older cat-savvy kids who can respect her boundaries. Slow and proper introductions over the course of multiple weeks are always recommended whenever introducing a new animal to the home. She loves to play with wand toys, mouse toys that rattle, and crinkle fish!
