"Hoppy" Leap Day! I hope that February 29 marks the day when I leapt into the life I was meant to live! I'm a pretty 2-year-old calico girl called Leap. I was released to Paws and Claws along with a younger boy named Julius because our owner could not afford to keep us. We are both quite affectionate cats who like toys and liked sleeping with our person. I'm an independent girl who does not usually like to be picked up, although I will sometimes tolerate it. However, I get along fine with people. But - they do need to respect my need to have my own space when I want it. Julian and I like eating Friskies canned food, especially the chicken varieties. I got my name because I arrived at the shelter on Leap Day. Julius and I are a bonded pair, so we need to be adopted together. Hop, skip, and jump over to the shelter to meet Leap and Julius!
