Tanner came to the shelter as a stray in February, very rambunctious and energetic. He's sixty pounds and about four years old. Since arriving at the shelter, Tanner has made himself a staff and volunteer favorite. He loves going on walks, he loves treats, he enjoys the water, and he rides nicely in the car. He would excel in a basic obedience class; he's very food-motivated and eager to please. We think he would do well in almost any family: people who live alone, empty-nesters, retirees, even active families with respectful kids. He's attended a few of the shelter training classes, and he loves to learn! If you're looking for a loving canine companion to accompany you on life's adventures, look no further than Tanner! Once you meet him, you'll love him, too!
