If I weren't an awesome, smart, cool cat, I might want to be an eagle so I could be flying high where I am free to soar. Well, the people here call me Eagle anyway! That's because I was found in Whitewater State Park, and I'm named after the Eagle Trail. I look similar to three kittens who were found at the park this July: Chimney, Dakota, and Coyote, and it's possible that I am their father. I may also be related to Meadow, Valley, and Inspiration, who came to the shelter from Whitewater in early January. I'm a 2-year-old brown tabby, young adult who was extremely frightened upon arrival. I might never have been around people much, and it was pretty scary at first. A fellow named Roy T. Bennett said, "If you want to fly, you have to give up what weighs you down." Cats don't fly, but our spirits do! I can be hissy, especially if someone tries to pet me when I'm in the cat tree! But otherwise, I'm very friendly and I love attention. I relax and love having my cheeks rubbed. I like to play, and I love canned food! I would probably do best in a home with no young children because sometimes I can nip. But like my other "Whitewater" family members, I've come a long way since I got here. I'm hoping that soon I can fly like an eagle into the arms of someone who will love and cherish me as their own splendid Eagle cat.
I am required to go home with my friend Meadow -- we are best buddies.
