Meet Jefferson, a resilient and heartwarming pup who has captured the hearts of our volunteers. Despite undergoing surgery to remove one eye due to medical issues, his sweet, loving, and playful nature remains unchanged. Jefferson's spirit shines brightly as he joyfully frolics with a jolly ball, chases butterflies, and even sneaks treats from volunteers' bags.
Since his surgery, he's feeling much better and is as energetic as ever. As one volunteer puts it, "He doesn't even seem to know he's missing an eye." His charming personality even caught the attention of an Adoption Angel who generously covered his adoption fee.
Curious to meet this precious boy and see why he's a volunteer favorite? Come meet Jefferson and experience his charm firsthand!
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org.
