Skittles is a 6 year old spayed female Fox Terrier/Chihuahua who weighs 15.5 lbs. Skittles and her buddy, Mary Jane, came from a commercial kennel after they were no longer wanted for breeding purposes. They have been shacking up in the same foster home and are slowly getting used to their new digs. Mary Jane has found her forever home, so now it's Skittles' turn! Skittles is still a little timid, but bonded quickly with her foster mom and follows her around. If she could be a permanent fixture on a lap she would be! Skittles doesn't discriminate when it comes to her snuggle partners - dogs, cats, and people are welcome. She would be happiest with other furry companions in her forever home. Skittles is still a little timid and startles easily, so a quiet home would be ideal. She is doing well with her training and hasn't gotten into anything she shouldn't. Walking on leash is still scary, and she does like to run around outside, so we'd love to find her a forever home with a fenced in yard to enjoy. Though she is a terrier, Skittles is very low key and doesn't need a lot of exercise. She is much more "couch potato" than "agility expert." We just adore this little peach and cannot wait to watch her thrive in her forever home - could that be yours??
