Hellllllo! I'm Marigold, a 2 year old pitbull mix and I'm an absolute doll. BUT only after I get to know you! And after I get to know you, it's game over because I'll be your bestie for the rest of time. When I love, I love HARD, like I could just explode with love when I'm around my favorite people. I came in as a stray who was found munching on some roadkill, yuck I know. The staff here at the shelter wonder what I had experienced before being brought in but with my trust issues, they figure it couldn't have been great. I warmed up quickly to the staff as all I need is someone who is patient and willing to give me my space until I'm comfortable enough to make friends. I do great with other dogs, especially the ones I can run and play with. I've been in multiple play groups and my furiends really helped bring me out of my shell. I will need a slow introduction to kitties as I haven't had too much exposure to them, but I'm such a gentle girl I know I could live harmoniously with them! I love the staff here at the shelter but everyone wants to see me find my forever home. Someone that is willing to work with me to gain my trust. I would be a fantastic hiking buddy and even better snuggle buddy to keep you warm on the couch at the end of the day.
