"There was nowhere to go but everywhere." - Jack Kerouac. Cats don't normally "hike," but there I was at Whitewater State Park. That's where I was found all by my lonesome back in mid-July, I was given the name Dakota when I was brought to Paws and Claws. But guess what! My sisters were found at the park on separate trails, too, and they were also at the shelter! Then, in January, even more family members were found. My sisters Chimney and Coyote have been adopted, but some other family members and I are still here! I'm a handsome, 11-month-old brown tabby boy. I can be shy, but once I'm comfortable, I'm very friendly. I love to be petted and will grab (without my claws extended) at people's hands to beg for more petting. I'm a playful guy too. So, leave the road. Take the trail to Paws and Claws. Get yourself a kitty kat named Dakota!
I am required to go home with my friend Inspiration -- we are best buddies.
