Meet Banjo, a gentle and sensitive pup who's finally ready to find his forever home. Banjo came to KHS rather shy but he was always so sweet given enough time. After an unfortunate period of time where he was lost outside of the shelter, he returned to us with even more stress regarding new people and his surroundings. Now, after 6 months in a foster home, he has made amazing progress and has let us see his sweet, fun loving personality.
Banjo is a doggie social butterfly who thrives in the company of other dogs, making him the ultimate playmate. This smart pup is also a pro on leash, always excited for daily walks along the bike path or a stimulating hike. Where he once would startle at any new sound, he's now become accustomed to the hustle and bustle of walkers, runners, bikers, and even children passing by and interacts with them in his gentle, cautious way. Given the time (or a canine friend), Banjo has the makings of an amazing family companion.
