Com'e bella! As you might guess from her name, Bella is one beautiful 3 year old girl, weighing in at a trim 45 pounds. She came to us due to a difficult family situation, though she was much loved in her previous home. Her owner described her as "loving, caring, a protector at heart... She loves affection and to sit close and lay her head in your lap." Bella likes car rides, quiet time, walking/running and water. She knows "sit" and "stay" and is described as "lap-loving, curious, active and playful." She has been friendly with adults and loves children of all ages. She has not been around cats but got along with two small dogs in the home-larger pups, not so much. Volunteers have also found her to be a sweet pup that walks great on leash, takes treats gently and is a great companion in the play yard. If you're looking for a fun, active, affectionate pup, come meet Bella-the belle of the ball (well, the shelter anyway).
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org.
