This 1 year old, fun loving goofball, was originally a temporary resident of our Haven 2 Home program, before returning home with his owner. Recently, our Animal Cruelty Division responded to a complaint of neglect and found Jackson skin and bones and foul smelling, with multiple sores/wounds.
Personality: Sweet/bouncy/goofy boy! Loves people, and just wants to interact with them.
Needs: A family with older children, and no dogs or cats. He would love a running or hiking partner, as he is super athletic and very willing to learn to new things.
Jackson Is working on basic manners in the shelter, learning to wait/sit patiently for meals. We will be continuing to work on his dog reactivity so he may be able to live with an older calmer dog in the home but does not really care for pushy dogs. If you're looking for an accountability partner and all around best buddy, look no further than Jackson!
