Mother: a female who does the work of many - for free. I'm a mama kitty named Cady, and yes, being a mama is work. But you know who worked even harder, for free? My foster mom! I'm a sweet brown tabby and white girl who was found with my brother King in Oronoco. We did fine with the 8-month-old baby in our finder's home, and we also did well with the two dogs and the cat. I played with toys more than the other cats, and I preferred sleeping alone. I would have liked to have been adopted with King, but when it was discovered that I was pregnant, I went to a foster home. On May 1, I gave birth to five kittens; sadly, two of them died. My foster mom said that it appeared to her that this was my first litter, as I seemed unsure of what to do, but I turned out to be a good mom to my kittens. Now that they are old enough to be adopted, I am ready to belong to some special person too. My kittens and I have been on the porch in our foster home, but I like going inside. When I do, I get "squirrelly! I run all over the place and only settle down for about, oh, 2 minutes! I accept petting, then I'm off again! One day, foster mom was changing the sheets. Oh! A "Cady magnet! I had to "help"! I'm ready to help you do your work, but it won't be free. You get to love, love, love me! Forever!
