Searching for his own second chance at life is our sweet guy, Atari. Once a street pup fighting for survival, Atari has been through so much during his short life - and he is a young guy! Due to the previous life he experienced, Atari is a bit nervous with handling and fast movements. He is the type that needs a calmer home and family that can help him learn that human touch isn't a bad thing. Once he has a chance to warm up, he makes an amazing companion and snuggler! Atari does well with other dogs, but can also be great by himself. He would do best with teenagers and older in the home, and no cats. Atari is going to take some work to build confidence, and because of his occasional nervous barking, he wouldn't do well with apartment life. He has now been here a year with us, and unfortunately needs out more than ever. With so much love to give, we know someone will fall for Atari's sweet personality like we have here!
