Louise came in with her two kittens Lainey and Livy. They were surviving and hiding in a wood pile on an acreage near Beiseker. The wonderful people living there made sure they were fed and kept warm and safe until we were able to bring them into the shelter. Louise has been enjoying life in her foster home.
This girl has gone from being very timid to being a loving, gentle, absolute cuddle bug. Although she's very shy around strangers, it's very easy to gain her trust. She has discovered the warmth of a human and loves to soak it up. Sleeping right next to her human is her favourite spot and she will be cuddling up to you through the night. Louise usually comes when called, she's sometimes a bit slower when she's tucked in with her besties, Viara and Verica. Louise has a motherly instinct with kittens and loves her roomies. Louise is actually getting comfortable being picked up and cuddled - that's a huge step for her! She loves to be brushed. Venturing around the house is a daily thing. She is not quite sure about the big, white dog wanting to sniff her, but she'd be fine with a calm dog. Playing is definitely a favourite, she has energy and loves to run, jump and chase toys.
Louise is so gentle and so sweet and deserves all the love, and she is willing to share that love with a special person who's willing to give her a chance.
Louise would do best in a home without small children, and with another kitty friend to show her the ropes of her new family and a soft snuggly bed.
