This beautiful, long haired tortie came to us with her Mom and 7 siblings back in the fall, rescued from the winter cold. She has been in foster with her sister, Verica, and the two of them have learned to play, love and be happy kittens. They love the laser pointer, feathers on a string, and running around. They also have experience around dogs in their foster home. These gals have been enjoying the comforts of a pampered life in foster for some time now. Being brushed, enjoying pets and soaking up the love. Having treats fed to them and lining up for their daily snack!
It took a few months to gain their trust. What a surprise it was the first time Viara rolled over for tummy pets and started to purr! Viara loves to be rubbed behind her ears and will lean onto my hand to the point she falls over! She loves having her whole back rubbed, as well. They are both becoming a big babies! They amaze their foster Mom everyday. Often, they will come when she calls their names, running to her for pets and making a sweet kitty whine sound, until they reach her, and then continue to do that while being pet. Viara likes lots of pets throughout the day. She will lay across her foster Mom's legs with her roomies. Both of these girls love to be brushed. These two girls are so worth the time it takes to gain their trust.
The adorable little sounds they make when communicating with each other will melt your heart.
The look in Viara's eyes when she is enjoying being touched is priceless; she will always look her foster Mom in the eye the entire time. Hearing both of them purr while enjoying pets is the best sound. Having both of these girls curled up right beside their human's pillow every night is the sweetest! They are bonded and would need to be adopted together.
