I've got a bone to pick with "somebody." You see, I'm Bones and I've been at the shelter since July 2022. I'm really ready to find my new family - no bones about it! I'm a handsome young adult, if I do say so myself, with a beautiful ginger-colored coat and soft green eyes, weighing in at a svelte 60 pounds. Volunteers say I'm calm and can be snuggly in the play yard, and I enjoy playing with toys and taking long walks. I'm no lazy bones! I AM special though, and I have some special needs: an adult household, an adopter who understands I can be nervous meeting new people and who is willing to take a slow approach to introductions, to do a 4-week learning foster first, and to bone up on my training plan provided by the shelter. My person would also get four weekly home visits from the behaviorist to check my progress and provide any help needed. What more could you ask? How about a free adoption, thanks to my Adoption Angel! That's a lot of special attention for a special boy, and I'm worth it! If you feel in your bones that I could be the one for you, then please ask to meet me, Bones, the bestest boy ever.

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org.
