My name is Oreo! I am looking for my forever home. I was brought to the shelter as a stray, so my history is a mystery. They think I am 2-3 years old and a Border Collie and possibly Akita mix.
I am a very loving, affectionate, velcro dog. I wants to be with my people, and I do not have separation anxiety (a great combination!) I am kennel trained, house trained, and learning to walk well on a leash. I enjoys walks and would make a great hiking partner. I also love to run and one of the Dog Walkers regularly runs with me. I love playing in the hose or a pool. I prefer being outside so I needs a fenced yard. A 6 foot fence might keep me in. I do love to jump. I would be a great dog for an active family.
I am dog selective, meaning I get along with some dogs but not others. I do resource guard, and would do best as an only pet. No cats! I LOVE people. Because I resourse guard my food and toys I would want the children over 8 years of age.
