This gorgeous calico is approximately 3 years old and has been with us since May of 2022. She's still very shy, but will now accept some slow and soft pets. We are not too sure as to why she is so timid of humans, but she continues to make slow and steady progress and we feel she would completely blossom with the love of the right family. She absolutely adores the companionship of Sangria, and they are the best of friends. They would need to find a forever home together.
A few months ago, Joni was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia virus (FeLV), a disease that impairs a cat's immune system. It is contagious to other cats, but not to people or dogs. Just because of this diagnosis it doesn't mean that Joni cant live out a great life - she can, but with a certain few additional precautions.
1. She and Sangria would be perfect for a home that has no cats or a cat who already has FELV
2. She would need to be an indoor cat only
