Meet Leo, the star of the zodiac!
Those born when the sun is in Leo are said to be confident, comfortable being the centre of attention, loyal, fiercely protective, a bit dramatic, and big-hearted. These traits could certainly describe Leo the cat! The star sign is the lion of the zodiac, a regal beast, and this attractive creamy-coloured, tabby boy certainly looks the part.
ABOUT LEO:
· In foster
· Adult, domestic shorthair, male
· Leo is a sweet cat who is friendly, chill, affectionate, and playful.
· Leo loves to play with his toys, give head bonks, and rub up against human legs.
· He will run to greet his humans at the door!
· Leo loves to cuddle and will even "spoon" with his foster mom. If you work from home, you may have to share your lap with Lovable Leo, as he loves to hang out. He'll even sleep in your bed at night, if allowed.
· Now in a stable foster home, Leo is no longer showing past reactivity (nibbling or scratching) when he becomes overstimulated.
· Leo rolls over to let his belly be rubbed when he feels comfortable.
· Leo's foster mom reports that when he makes biscuits, he keeps a blanket in his mouth. Is he taste-testing?
· Fun fact! Lucky Leo shares his birthday (March 17th) with Saint Patrick's day.
· Leo is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
LEO'S IDEAL HOME:
· Leo gets along well with other cats.
· Given his past sometimes-reactive nature, a home without very young children would be best. His new humans should also be familiar with feline body language so they can watch for signs he is becoming overstimulated.
· Leo suffers from asthma and is on daily inhaled and oral medications to keep it under control. He is also on a special diet.
Why not schedule a meet and greet to see if you're compatible with Leo? It might just be a match written in the stars!
