Ask TCHS staff for more information * ~~ Meet Skelly! ~~ This handsome boy was found outside as a kitten and was brought to TCHS due to not fitting into his finder's home ~~ Skelly has lived with other cats and dogs and loved to wrestle and play with them- he would make a great friend for another young, playful cat ~~Skelly has been doing awesome with the resident cat in foster care and may prefer the company of one in a home setting!~~ He may be too rambunctious for an older/mellow animal ~~ He has lived with young kids but tends to get annoyed of them ~~ It is strongly recommended he be adopted into a childless home or with older kids who can respect his space ~~ All introductions to new family members should be slow and proper; ask a staff member for detailed tips ~~ Skelly was described as independent and active ~~ He will come find his favorite humans when he's ready for some attention and snuggles ~~He is not a big fan of being picked up, but will nuzzle his person's hand for attention and affection~~This sweet guy takes some time to warm up to new people and places and is pretty shy at first- he would benefit from a patient owner willing to let him come out of his shell on his own time~~Ask TCHS staff about the use of Feliway for stress reduction!~~ This cutie would appreciate plenty of scratching posts/pads in his new home to fulfill his natural instincts ~~ Skelly can be picky about his litterbox set-up and would appreciate a large, uncovered box that is cleaned daily ~~ Ask a staff member if you have questions about appropriate litterbox set-up and care ~~ Dangle a feather toy or laser pointer in front of this goofy boy and he will make you laugh with his antics! ~~ Skelly thrives on lots of mental and physical exercise- he would love a variety of entertaining toys and a cat tree in his new home ~~ This lively little guy can tend to play rough, so he may need some positive behavior reinforcement and redirection to appropriate toys he can bite- he has been doing great in foster care playing with the other cat~~ It was reported that Skelly loves cat nip and wet food ~~ This mini tiger has gorgeous, longer hair that will need to be brushed often ~~ Skelly would really enjoy a window seat where he can perch and watch the critters outside ~~ Could this handsome boy be your new best buddy? ~~ Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care ~~ To military personnel, veterans and seniors-the fee would be waived ~~ DEPOSITS MAY BE PLACED ON ADOPTABLE ANIMALS by calling 320-252-0896
