"Man is the only animal that blushes. Or needs to." - Mark Twain. I'm a wary girl, but that's not why I'm called Blush. I'm one of the numerous cats who came from a home with too many animals back at the end of March 2022, and we were all named after Crayola Crayon colors. No, there are no "blush" colored kitties! Although I'm a tortoiseshell girl, I'm mostly black. I was found to be pregnant and went to a foster home. It took more than two weeks before I let my foster mom touch me. The only time I came out of my hiding spot in the bathroom was when I spotted the string toy. She gained my trust by sitting on the floor reading to me for up to an hour a day. Even though I was hissy, I really wanted attention. Sometimes I get lonely and cry for attention. I want to be part of a family, but it will take time and patience to win me over. I don't like noisy toys, but I Iove quiet balls and string toys. They help me relax. Catnip is fun too. I am the proud mamma of two tabby girls, Bindi and Birta. Okay, maybe I might blush just a little when I think of my baby girls! But don't forget this lovely mama called Blush. I might take a while to settle in, but you'll come to adore me!
