Hi! My name's Levana and let me tell you that inside life is AMAZING! I was picked up as a stray at the end of February and immediately went into a foster. These house things are so strange, but so much fun! For one, hoomans live here with me and give me love whenever I want it! How cool is that! I just run over and flop in their laps. I am practiced in the arts of the boneless dog and will melt into any position. Despite being a larg(ish) dog, I love being carried around like a baby in which I can puppy nibble an unsuspecting ear.

All in all, I am adjusting so well to life in the house, and I could definitely get used to these all-day play sessions with toys and late-night snuggles on the couch. I love every human ever and want to meet every single one I see when out on walks. I would LOVE a yard of my own, but if someone was looking for a walking buddy, I would be more than happy to accompany them!
I also love other dogs and just want another play companion. I'm currently living with my foster brother, a previous HSEC alumnus, but he's a grumpy old man and only wants to play, like, twice a day. Can you believe that? But it's okay because I also love curling up with one of these newfangled devices called a doggie toy. Some squeak, some crinkle, and even if you eat all the sound out of them, they're so good for running around with! And don't get me started on bones!

I have only been in a home for one week and I have already learned the basics of being a dog. I now know "sit" and "wait" and "off" (well, I'm still working on that one, but I just get so excited when I see hoomans)! I am also making fantastic progress on housetraining! However, I am crate trained and I love hanging out in my crate with a frozen peanut butter Kong when my hoomans are away and that way, you don't have to worry about any accidents while you're out having fun! My foster mom is amazed how fast I have adjusted to home life. What can I say, I'm just the perfect pup!

True to hound form, I will always let you know what I am feeling. I can be very vocal, but I do respond to a command of "enough." I'm a year and a half old puppy just looking for my forever home with a family that can help me become the best dog I can be. If you bring the patience, I'll bring all the snuggles and cuddles and goofy flops that you could ever dream of wanting in a dog!
