Layla (born around February of 2021) was fearful-aggressive at first when she came to Safe Haven, but she is now very loving and playful with all of our volunteers and staff. She is often timid with new people and dogs and hates going to the vet, and she may become nippy with strangers when she is stressed. She loves training and is very smart and motivated to learn, however, and we are confident that she would do well with a family who will be patient with her as she adjusts to home life. Layla is comfortable eating in a crate. She sheds seasonally, and she is looking for a home with people who will make sure she is brushed and trimmed regularly.
