Meet Maggie Marie, the sweetest little senior this side of the Mississippi! Maggie's previous owners moved and couldn't take her with them (?) but have no fear! We are here to make sure Maggie's next home gives her the love and security she needs from now on. She's ready and waiting so apply now!

Age: 10 years old

Weight: Approx 18 pounds

Health: Very good but does have some skin allergies. She is being treated with apoquel and is responding well

Demeanor: Very sweet and affectionate, quiet/mellow, playful (at times), couch potato (at times), social, curious, anxious (only with loud noises)

Likes: People (not tested with children but foster thinks she'd be great), dogs (only tested with female but likely okay with males too), giving kisses and snuggling, being held, sitting in laps (loves this!), going for car rides and walks, getting belly rubs (another fav), sleeping in your bed

Dislikes: Loud noises, fireworks, thunderstorms, vet's office and being crated

Manners: Housebroken, leash trained, crate trained (but does not like after being boarded for 8 days), knows some verbal commands

Fenced Yard Required: Preferred. If not, must always be leashed when outdoors

Tidbits: Maggie is very sweet and well behaved. She prefers to be around people. She plays with my HIGHLY ENERGETIC 2 year-old Boston, but when she's had enough, she lets her know. Maggie likes to play but a calmer dog might be better. She had been previously trained with a doggie door. We don't have one, but she is very good about sitting by the door when needing to go out. Mags will roll over for a belly rub and paw at your hand to be petted (aw, so cute)!

Isn't she a doll? Interested? Apply.
