Hi, my name is Cooper!
I am a goofy, loving boy looking for my forever home! I have been in the shelter for a while now, but no one can quite understand why. I am very intelligent, cuddly, sweet, and loyal. I do not bark much, but I love to "talk" to my people. My foster mom never understands what I am saying, but I love to make her smile and laugh. I have been abandoned before, so meeting new people can be scary for me. I might bark at new people, but everyone knows that I am just scared. Once you show me love (and some good treats) you will be in my pack for life! I am always excited for an adventure, but I could also happily lay on the couch all day with you. I am highly food-motivated, so training is very easy with me. I am very respectful of rules and boundaries, but I need someone who is going to be respectful of my boundaries too. I am fully house-broken, and can be trusted alone outside of a crate. I would love a forever home with loving people who live a quiet, low-key lifestyle. I need patience with my training and time to allow me to learn how to live a worry-free life.
My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! I will also have a free yearly exam and core vaccines for the rest of my life with the Wetness Clinic. What more could you ask for?
Our adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY Tuesday through Saturday. Please complete an application online and you will be contacted if you are approved and a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
