Cuddlebug alert! Cuddlebug alert! Butchie is all about the affection! Empty lap? Fill it with Butchie. Cold bed? Warm it with Butchie. Dirty face? Clean it with a full Butchie facial. His favorite thing is being with his people and getting all the attention. ALL THE ATTENTION! He'd do best as an only dog as he isn't fond of sharing. His jealous streak isn't constant, but it is unpredictable, and he does react when he feels left out. Read on to learn more about this sweet boy:

Age: Approx 3 years old

Weight: 17 pounds

Health: Excellent

Demeanor: Affectionate, sweet, playful, active/high energy, couch potato (at times), vocal

Likes: People (not tested with children), giving kisses and snuggling, being held and sitting in laps, belly rubs, sleeping in your bed, burrowing under blankets, eating treats, wearing sweaters

Dislikes: Sharing his people, being crated

Manners: Nearly housebroken (95%), crate trained (barks for a long time when crated), somewhat leash trained, working on verbal commands

Fenced Yard Required: Yes

Tidbits: Butchie would love to be in a home where he isn't left alone for very long. He adores the company of his people and just prefers their presence to anything else. While he does okay most of the time with the foster family's resident dogs, he can be very possessive. His possessiveness leads to aggressive behavior. For this reason, we think it best for him to be in an only-pet situation. He is being corrected at his foster home, but for safety, we think a single-dog home would be prudent.

Butchie is for anyone who wants a snuggly friend. He would do well with consistent and continued training in his housebreaking, leash training and verbal commands. He's a doll who deserves a wonderful home. Who can provide him with what he needs? To apply, click here:
