Age: Approx. 8 years old

Weight: 32 pounds

Health: Very good

Demeanor: Affectionate, sweet, quiet/mellow, playful (at times), couch potato, social, curious, vocal (at times)

Likes: People (not tested with children), dogs, playing fetch, giving kisses (at times), snuggling (if he feels like it), being held (at times), sitting next to you (but not necessarily on your lap), going for walks and car rides, getting belly rubs, sleeping in your bed, burrowing under blankets, eating treats (give him all the T-R-E-A-T-S!)

Dislikes: Getting his nails trimmed and going in crate (he does but reluctantly and will fuss for a bit so make your escape!)

Manners: Housebroken, leash trained, crate trained, knows verbal commands: sit, paw, go outside, come here (only if he feels like it)
Fenced Yard Required: Preferred. If no fenced yard, must be kept on leash at all times

Tidbits: Chuck is a doll! Foster mama says he's very well behaved, a "good boy" and great dog! Walked into his foster's house and made himself right at home, becoming part of the pack right away.

In his previous home, he was "free fed" which means his food was left out all day so he could graze. Now that he's in a home with other dogs, that is not an option and Chuck will tell you he doesn't like it! Not. One. Bit! So, he will let know when he wants his food and give you an earful (mostly a grumbly, snorty earful-so cute!) until you feed him. Adorable!

Funny quirk according to foster mama: "Chuck loves pillows (as in bed pillows)! I had my bed pillow in the living room when I was sick, and Chuck decided to make it HIS pillow. It doesn't matter if you put it on the back of the sofa, the end table, the coffee table, Chuck got that pillow so HE could sleep on it."

Chuck's wish is to be in his new home by Christmas. If you are interested in this easy-to-love boy, please apply.
