Buck is an older fella, who spent 8 years at his home as an outdoor dog before being returned to us in September of 2023. Now past the 10-year mark, Buck enjoys sunbathing, meeting new people, taking naps (he is a bit of a snorer) and going on walks. Buck has been on a weight loss journey, after being returned at a very overweight 94 pounds, but is now slimming down and is in the much healthier 60-70 pound range. Volunteers describe him as very sweet and affectionate, and his former foster notes he's got great house manners. Buck is arthritic but does well in playgroups with other dogs. Looking for a family to help Buck continue his health journey and find a loving home before he hits the one-year mark at the shelter. Maybe you're the right person for Buck. Come meet him today!
The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org.
