Meet Charlie!
Charlie arrived with his littermates, and while they're all adjusting in their own ways, Charlie is the most curious soul of the group. The world is still a pretty overwhelming place for him-loud sounds, new faces, sudden movements... it's all a lot for a boy who's still learning to feel safe.
Right now, Charlie is a bit timid and unsure, but he truly wants to be brave. You can see him trying, watching quietly from the sidelines, taking slow steps forward, and building up the courage to trust.
And there's one thing that really helps him along:
Treats.
This guy is a certified snack enthusiast. If you've got something tasty, Charlie suddenly remembers he's much braver than he thought. Food is absolutely the way to his heart, and it's a wonderful tool for bonding with him.
Charlie will thrive with someone who understands that confidence takes time. He'll need a patient adopter who can offer reassurance, gentle guidance, and a peaceful home where he can go at his own pace. He's working on everything-basic training, trust-building, and figuring out how to just relax and enjoy being a dog, but he has so much room to blossom.
If you're the kind of person who finds joy in helping a shy pup discover the world isn't so scary, and you don't mind carrying a few treats in your pocket, Charlie might be the sweetest little project you'll ever take on.
