I'm Mozart--a cat, not a composer.
Far from Salzburg, birthplace of his famous namesake Wolfgang Amadeus, our Mozart is a local fellow, hailing from Hamilton. While he waits to meet a family he can call his own, our handsome boy is slowly adjusting to shelter life.
ABOUT MOZART:
-At shelter
-Adult, domestic longhair/mix, male
-Mozart might initially hiss at visitors, but he is simply asking you to proceed slowly.
-He prefers to spend most of his time in the comfort and security of his cubby. Once everything falls quiet at the end of a shift, Mozart may emerge to lie down at the door to his kennel.
-When in his cubby, he is curious, sniffing fingers and even accepting gentle pets once he is comfortable.
-Mozart has accepted pets with the back-scratcher through the door to his kennel; he really loved it, especially on his chin, but pretty much everywhere along his head, neck, and upper back.
-Mozart is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.
MOZART'S IDEAL HOME:
-Mozart would appreciate a patient adopter who understands it will take time for him to become comfortable in his new home.
-Given his shy demeanour, Mozart might do best in a quiet home with no young children.
-As we get to know him, we will be able to determine if he would like to share a home with a compatible feline companion.
W.A.Mozart gifted the world with over six hundred compositions. Although our Mozart is no musical prodigy, he will provide love and companionship, music to one's ears. If you are looking to add harmony to your life, why not come by the shelter to meet Mozart?
