***AT SHELTER***
Say hello to Henry!!!
Henry will gladly say hello to you, too! While some of our cats may be a little shy after spending too much of their childhood watching cat TV or using the latest MeowPhone Pro, Henry loooves to spend time around people, and seems to have boundless energy. Henry's adamant that he hasn't smuggled any coffee or RedBull into the shelter, but he always seems to be jumping off the walls with energy!
While Henry is still young, and his energy may begin to wear off with age, his adopters should expect a super energetic and friendly guy who loves affection, playing, and exploring. Henry's looking for a home without other cats, and where his energetic needs can be fulfilled through interactive play and lots of cuddle time.
Henry was neutered shortly after his arrival at EHS. He is, however, still spraying to mark his territory when he is out of his kennel and exploring the shelter. As he grows up and his hormone levels decrease, this might go away, but it may also be behavioural in nature, caused by sharing the shelter with so many roommates (he is not a fan of other cats!). To assist Henry and his adoptive family successfully transition to a forever home, EHS will offer a short foster-to-adopt period before finalizing the adoption. During this time, our skilled volunteers will offer support to the potential adopters as they get to know Henry and help ensure everyone settles in comfortably together.
Has Henry piqued your interest? Our athletic little guy is looking for a home to run around in! Visit him this weekend!
