Ty has lots of love to give!
Ty was surrendered by his loving owner when she recently moved to a long-term care facility. She has entrusted EHS with her beloved Ty, and we are hoping to make both their transitions easier by finding Ty a new home where he can be a cherished pet once again.
This handsome tabby boy is, understandably, feeling a little bewildered by shelter life, but is already warming up to his surroundings. "Bloom where you're planted," right, Ty? He has been described by volunteers as a "big lovebug who loves face scratches." He is food motivated and comes bounding toward the sound of treats rattling in their container.
Ty is used to being a solo cat, enjoying all the love (and treats) available. A home where he can be the only feline companion would serve him best. He hasn't been exposed to dogs or small children.

The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200...or, double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.
