***IN FOSTER***

POOF! Do you dream of Genie? She could be the one for you!

While envisioning a forever abode, Genie is getting used to life in a foster home since she was reluctantly surrendered by her previous owner because she didn't get along with the other cats in their house. A people's cat, not a cat's cat, Genie is especially affectionate toward the gentlemen in her life and she regularly interacts with the respectful elementary school-aged children in her foster home. She even allows the kids to dress her up in a hat!

Genie has been described as "stunningly beautiful" and an "adorable lap cat" who would spend her whole day being brushed and petted if possible. When she's not lounging around lapping up affection, she loves to play with toy wands and pom-poms. Might she think they have a bit of magic?

Genie's foster mom has nicknamed her "Queenie Genie" because she is quite vocal when she wants affection. She is a petite, chatty girl who likes to "talk" to anyone who is around. Once you acknowledge her pleas, Genie preens and relishes in your attention by giving you lots of cat hugs and lap cuddles.

Due to her sweet nature, Genie would do well with first-time cat owners, but her future family should be prepared for a period of adjustment with respect to her vocalization, which her foster mom reports tapers off after a few nights and can be mitigated with a routine (so she doesn't have to "tell" you when it's dinner time). Genie gets along with cat-loving youngsters, and she's started showing interest in a cat-wary dog who comes by to visit, so dogs might be a welcome part of her future, too. Given her history with other cats, she should be the only feline in the home.

Are you ready to add a little magic to your life and be greeted with a charming "meow!" when you get home? Why not consider Genie? You might be the answer to her wish, and she to yours!
