Hello there, they call me Batman here at the shelter. I am a 3.5 year old doberman boy who is still just learning my place in the world. I need an experienced dobie owner to take me under their wing. I am quite big and can be a bit protective so I need to live with adults only and no other pets. I sometimes have trouble listening, and can pull really hard when I have my mind set on something. I have a very wide stubborn streak, and if I decide I am not doing something, it will take some high value rewards to convince me otherwise. I enjoy playing with squeaky toys and stuffies are good too. I have had training when I was smaller, but I need a refresher course to fine-tune my commands. I have a very big bark, but I am just alerting you to fun things. I need to be entertained and worked or I could hurt myself or get into trouble, so a family who is at home more than not, or who will invest in a walker during the day is a must. I have never been in a crate, so this is not recommended for me. I am a good boy looking for a second chance at a great and rewarding life.
