Orange is the new black!

Gorgeous orange tabbies never go out of style. From Garfield to Puss in Boots, they've charmed us and captured our hearts with their winning ways. Sweet Wesley is proudly carrying on that tradition by becoming a fan favourite with everyone he meets!

A friendly and affectionate boy, Wesley is not shy about making himself the centre of attention. He tugs at your heartstrings with a medley of meows to get head pets and chin scratches, and then rewards you with purrs and a cuddle in your lap. He's confident around people and curious about his surroundings. He loves to explore the shelter in his "out time" from the kennels and catch up on the latest news with his shelter mates. He's always ready for playtime, especially if there are treats involved!

While Wesley is a sociable, easygoing boy most of the time, he is prone to overstimulation, which can lead to unexpected nips or scratches. The ideal adopter will know how to read Wesley's body language and respect his need for a bit of downtime to avoid any tabby tantrums. Wesley would do best in a single-cat household where his forever family can give him all the love and attention that he deserves. He's not used to living with small children, however, he might do well with older, respectful ones.

Wesley is a classic, timeless kitty who wants to be someone's stylish companion for life. Could you be the one he's waiting for? Find out by filling out an adoption application today!
The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home an adult feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200 ... Or double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furballs for $350! If you mix and match (kitten plus cat), the adoption fee is $300. Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Kittens are not spayed or neutered until 5 months of age, but the cost of spay/neuter will be covered as part of the adoption.
