This adorable and lovely lady is Dixie! She is a 9 year old hound mix that was surrendered due to no fault of her own. Dixie has lived with children of all ages through out her life. She has also lived with other canines and is said to be playful and do well. We will require a dog to dog introduction prior to adoption to make sure everyone gets along. Dixie knows basic commands such as sit,down,stay and come. She also enjoys chase, tug,and squeaky toys. Dixie will need to loose a few pounds to get her to a healthy weight. So adopters should be prepared to get Dixie moving and help her on her weight loss journey. Dixie is not the biggest fans of felines so no cats in her future home.
