Meet Puma! This unique looking little fellow was a transfer from one of our shelter partners after his owner had to surrender due to eviction. Sweet little Puma is now on the search for his perfect family. Puma has done well with other canines while here at our shelter and will need to meet any resident canines prior to adoption to make sure everyone gets along. We will require children in the home be 10 and up as Puma can be a bit jumpy and pushy. Puma is said to know sit,down,and drop! He is also a big fan of stuffy toys! He prefers to be with his people and when he is not he may be a bit vocal so renters or anyone with shared walls please be mindful if you are gone long hours. Puma will need a dental prior to adoption which will be completed at our clinic next door. This will be an added cost at time of adoption. Currently Puma has been diagnosed with stage 1 chronic kidney disease. Not to worry this doesn't slow Puma down at all! His future family will just need to make sure he gets regular vet visits and bloodwork completed to monitor the progression of his CKD.
