Meet Otis, he has been patiently waiting for his family for over 438 days. Otis was originally brought to us with an open wound on his left back leg, so a portion of his time was undergoing extensive treatment to heal and he still has some lingering sensitivity in that area. This doesn't stop Otis from living his best life. While with us Otis has enjoyed the company of his favorite volunteers going on many walks and adventures during his stay with us, including being a Beach Buddies favorite. He does great for car rides and is always down for a pup cup! Otis has been working on his manners with other canines doing pack walks and hang out sessions. He will need a dog to dog introduction with any resident canines to make sure everyone gets along and with his lingering sensitivity in his rear leg, children must be 12 and up. He doesn't ask for much, a warm bed, exploring on walks and some peace and quiet. Otis spent some much needed relaxing time in foster and was the best boy! His foster family said he enjoys going on walks, loves toys, needs a little work with fetch, and enjoyed chasing a squirrel or two. His foster family also said Otis enjoys his fluffy bed and hanging out on the couch with his fosters. If you would like to visit with Otis or have more questions please speak with our kennel team who will be happy to help you. Otis is a patient gentleman who is ready for the right family to welcome him into their home.
