Woodstock came to the shelter a very under socialized boy who was petrified of everything, and unsure about things like walking on a leash. He has been in a foster home slowly being introduced to new experiences with the help of his foster and the confident resident dog that he adores.
Woodstock is still shy to warm up to new people, but once he's comfortable you can see what a sweetie pie he is, enjoying ear scratches and cuddles. He is mostly housebroken when taken out every few hours. At night he goes into his crate at bed time. Sometimes he'll go into it on his own during the day for a bit of quiet time, too.
Woodstock enjoys playing with the resident dog in the home, even sharing a dog bed sometimes. He likes to chase balls and is good at playing fetch and bringing them back and dropping them. This puppy loves to chew, so give him plenty of bones and toys to help occupy his clever mind!
Woodstock is in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting Woodstock and helping him continue to learn about the world, email foster@franklincountyohio.gov.
